Privacy Policy

Spaces Inc Pvt Ltd ("Spaces Inc", "we", "us") operates spaces-inc.mv (the "site"). This policy describes what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

We try to collect as little as possible. The site exists to showcase our work and let prospective clients reach us. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form

We collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. Submissions are stored in our database and are visible to the Spaces Inc team via our admin panel.

When you simply browse the site

Our hosting provider records standard server log information — your IP address, the page you requested, your browser's user-agent string, and the date and time. These logs help us diagnose errors and detect abuse. They are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted.

Cookies

We set one cookie: a Rails session cookie that keeps the site working as you move between pages. It contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will appear before any new cookie is set.

How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries submitted via the contact form.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the site.
• To comply with legal obligations under Maldives law.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where your information is stored

Site content (project images and journals) is stored on Cloudflare R2. The application database is hosted by our infrastructure provider. Both are protected by access controls and encrypted at rest. Cloudflare may process traffic outside the Maldives; their privacy practices are available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

How long we keep it

• Contact form submissions: retained while the enquiry is active, then archived for up to 24 months for follow-up and record-keeping. You may ask for earlier deletion.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Session cookie: deleted when you close your browser.

Your rights

Under the Maldives Personal Data Protection Act 2024, and (where applicable) the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Object to its further use.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 14 days.
